The Marriage Alliance of Central Virginia
Building Stronger Families Through Stronger Marriages For A Stronger Community.
A workshop for ANYONE involved in planning a wedding:
"First Dance"
Date: TBA
Time: TBA
Place: TBA
It's probably the most complex logistical event you'll ever plan in your life.
And then your families get involved…
This program explores the PEOPLE side of wedding planning. Learn how to balance "yours", "mine", and "ours" and save your relationship in the process!
Because every marriage is in some sense a "cross-cultural" marriage, there are bound to be some differences of opinion and ideas about how things should be done at the wedding. How do you handle the family dynamics in a way that will give you the wedding you want, and preserve the relationships that will extend far beyond the honeymoon?
At this fun and informative seminar/workshop, you'll learn how to make a strong start to your marriage and how to keep it strong over the long haul. Building commitment, handling everyday stresses as a team, learning to identify and avoid the "danger signs" that signal trouble ahead... these are some of the keys to marital success that you'll take home with you, along with practical "nuts and bolts" techniques for better communication, conflict resolution and problem solving.
Cost: $10 per person. Pre-registration is required, so call now to reserve your space!
If you are interested in having your church sponsor this seminar, please call Larry Compter at 434-455-2117 or email marriagealliance@verizon.net
